On the basis of holding Annual Conference on Coatings and Finishing Technology and Development Strategy successfully, Society of Coatings & Finishing of CIESC and National Paint & Coatings Industry Information Center held the 20th Annual Conference on Coatings and Finishing Technology and Development Strategy on Aug.31-Sep.1. At the same time, they also held International Coil Coatings & Finishing Forum to adapt to coil coatings market and technology development. The conference was perfect.

Experts arrived to direct, attendees reached to 300

    Many experts supported this conference. Yu Zhaonian, Chen Zhongdai Wang Daozhang, Chen Muzu, Zhu Yiyi and Duan Zhimei attended the conference, Wang Daozhang, Chen Muzu, Yu Jianfeng and Zhu yushu are executive chairmen of the conference, and Chen Muzu and Zhu Yiyi gave excellent reports about automotive finishing and coil coatings raw material collection which were welcomed by representatives.

    According to incomplete statistic, more than 160 corporations, about 300 principals and research men attended this conference, coming from everywhere of China including Yaiwan. It illustrated that this conference adapted to our coatings industry especially coil coatings development, and it provide timely information support for coil coatings development and technology progress in our country.

Both domestic and foreign corporations catch the chance to hold technical seminars

    The annual Meeting of Coatings Industry has become the chance and concourse of strengthening communication and mutual study of insiders, and provides good opportunity for raw material corporations promoting new technology and introducing new products. This meeting focused on increasingly rising coil coatings and rapidly developing automotive coatings, which attracted many coatings & Finishing insiders contrywidely and raw material production and management corporations of coil coatings and automotive coatings. During this two days, Bayer Polymer Group (Asia and Pacific Zone), Shanghai Luborun International Business Corporation, E J Chemicals (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd., Singapore Ruiyi Zhuoyue Production Corporation, Germany BYK Chemicals (Asia and Pacific Zone) Private Corporation, Afka Additives Corporation, Grace Corporation, Beijing Th-unis Insight Co.,Ltd., Beijing Goodnano New Material Corporation, Hainan Automotive Research Institute and Jiangsu Sanmu Group Corporation held relevant technical seminars about resin, additives raw materials, research of automotive coatings and coating aging, which received prominent drumbeating and communicating effect and were welcomed by representatives (Table 1).

The thesis communication was abundant

    This conference has embodied 29 discourses totally, abundantly and having high pertinence (Picture 1). Coil coatings took 45%, including market foreground, research actuality, application and raw materials of coil coatings; automotive coatings and architectural coatings took 31%. The thesis corpus was appraised by representatives.

    The well-known experts and technical person of coating industry made thesis communication in the conference, welcomed by representatives. Parts of communicating discourses are in table 2.
