Pre-coated sheet coatings industry is a rising one among all national industries. This forum has experienced three years and now becomes an excellent platform by which attendees can meet friends, find new contacts, promote company awareness, present new products and so on.

International Forum'05 on Pre-coated Sheet and Coil Coatings Concluded Successfully

    Thinking of meeting the need of pre-coated sheet market development, and urgently required by those who are involved in this field, China National Paint & Coatings Industry Information Center jointly with Society of Coatings and Finishing of CIESC held the 3 rd international forum at China Hotel (Guangzhou) on September 20, 2005.

    This forum was supported by China Iron and Steel Association and other leading coil coatings companies, and raised much concerns among coil coatings players. National Coil Coatings Association (NCCA) from USA also attended this forum.

    The forum theme is “Proactive Readjustment to Market Development”. Many leading players in coil coatings and pre-coated sheet as well as household appliance were invited to make presentations, for instance, China Iron and Steel Association, National Technical Committee of Paint and Pigment for Standardization, China National Paint & Coatings Industry Information Center, PPG, Beckers, New Amsterdam and Kelon, etc. The audiences are from many leading companies including pre-coated sheet manufacturers, design institutes, surface treatment companies, and specifically Solvay Solexis, Noveon, DSM, Cytec, Grace, Merck, Clariant, SK, Cray Valley, Deggusa, EJ, Eastman, P & ID, Nuplex, Nippon, Akzo Nobel and Sanmu, etc. They discussed issues mainly on iron and steel industrial structure, coil coatings standardization, coil coatings market situation, pre-coated sheet applications, and household appliance demand / supply, etc.
