Our country has a late and low start in powder coatings and coating production, starting from electric insulating powder coatings. In 1965, Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Research Institute researched and developed epoxy insulating powder coatings, and set a trial-department with 10t annual production in Changzhou Insulating Materials Factory. In the last ten years, because of the opening market and the rapid economic growth, our powder coatings have made a great advancement in product, variety and quality.
