The paint supply contract for Taizhou Yangtze Bridge in Jiangsu Province in China is an important milestone in the bridge segment. It was signed by Jotun Protective Coating China in December 2009.

    With 2x1080 meters spans connecting three towers, the Taizhou Yangtze Bridge will be the biggest three-tower suspension bridge in the world.

    "Frequent visits to both the owner and contractors, in addition to Jotun's strengths in products, service and teamwork, helped us to win this contract. The success in this project, indicates that Jotun has taken the top position in the market and been fully recognized by the customers in the industry", comments Sales Director in Protective Coatings, Mr Liu Wei.

    The construction of the Taizhou Yangtze Bridge starts in 2010, and will be completed during 2014. By adopting advanced technology, the Taizhou Yangtze bridge project will have a significant and symbolic meaning for the worldwide bridge development.
