Mingchen Zhenbang pays much attention to R & D. The R & D center has more than 60 technical personnel, including 5 experts who can enjoy national whole-life allowance, and has exploited 8 series of Fluorocarbon Paints such as marine, automotive, airplane, rigid construction, petrochemical, wood and baking paint. When referring to the relationship between fluorocarbon coatings and environmental protection, Manager Zhang told us they pay much attention to developing green environmental protective products, such as aqueous fluor coatings.

Manager Zhang has his own opinions about orientation and future of fluor coatings. He said, “The fluor coating in America or Japan is only a small variety in coatings and is for special using. We have unique advantage of producing fluor coatings because we have rich raw material and low cost of technology, labour force and raw material. So we could reduce the product cost, extend application fields of fluor coatings, and develop Chinese characteristic fluor coatings.

We have a small production of fluor coatings in the present, which takes up less than 1% in total coatings production. However, Manager Zhang thought fluor coatings would develop greatly in the coming years, so Mingchen Zhenbang is going to the biggest product base of fluor coatings in Asia and will start to build it at the end of next year. He calls on specialization and collectivization production and internal combination, avoiding orderless competition.

As the co-organizer of the 3rd Fluor Coatings Development Strategy and Technology Conference, Manager Zhang said this conference provided chances for communication and cooperation. The later conferences should give prominences the subject, raise development strategy and induct the relevant corporations correctly.
