Q: About 80 people took part in the 1st Fluor Coatings Conference, 170 people in the 2nd conference and 200 people in the 3rd conference. Is this phenomenon natural? Does it stand for good prospect of fluor coatings?

A: At first, this phenomenon is natural because of the performance of fluor coating and it application. However, some corporations follow other corporations, which is unnatural. Fluor coating contains high technique, so it has certain difficulty in resin preparation, coatings preparation and application. After fierce competition, some worse corporations will be eliminated.

Q: A subject of this conference is about setting fluor coatings organization. Do you think it is needful to set it? If yes, how to do? Which department does it attach to?

A: It is integrant to set this organization, because any industry should combine consciousness and constraint. The organization could achieve the combination well during propagandizing, conducting and harmonizing. Fluor coatings organization could attach to coatings industry and contact closely with architectural association and anti-corrosive association considering the application. It should know market information on time and adjust production construction accordingly to promote the fluor coatings.

Q: Some people in this industry think fluor coating should be democratic and be used widely. Do you agree with them?

A: I don’t agree with them completely. The popularization of fluor coating is difficult to achieve in the present because of its high price and high technique. But this phenomenon will be changed. During this time, we could generalize the influence of fluor coating. We could firstly start from high quality products to let people know its good performances, and finally fluor coating could be popular.

Q: Some fluor coatings factories think the technique of domestic fluor resin is unqualified, and we should import fluor resin to produce qualified fluor coating. How many distances are there between the domestic and foreign fluor resin do you think?

A: Definitely, there are certain distances between them, but we should understand the foreign well-known resin is also improved gradually during the use. If everyone only use imported resin, the price will become higher, which is harmful to the development of fluor coatings. Meanwhile, the distances become smaller and smaller, so our company adopts domestic resin in some fields on the base of strict estimation and provides our experience in use for resin factories. After these years, we feel the quality of domestic resin has gotten great improvement.
Q: which aspect do you think the fluor coatings corporations should make efforts?

A: Firstly, we should keep sober mind. In the company, we should pay attention to quality, while out of company we make drumbeating. Our corporations should combine to each other, be complementary, and avoid malignant competition. For instance, Dalian Mingchen Zhenbang has advantages in resin, drumbeating and sales net, while we have advantages in paint production, relevant materials, equipment and construction. So we’re trying to combine with each other to promote fluor coatings development.

Q: What subject do you think the 4th fluor coatings conference should have?

A: The later conferences should strengthen the contact among fluor resin factory, fluor coatings corporation and users. Therefore, they can communicate information adequately and understand the supply and demand. It will be better to invite international corporations to give lectures in the conferences, and then the domestic fluor coatings corporations could know the latest technical trend. As the organizer, it should conduct people correctly that it is difficult to produce fluor resin and fluor coatings, and not to produce assembly. In that way, fluor coating in our country can develop healthily.
