Nowadays, the annual output of epoxy resins of the whole world is about 1.7 million tons, while 60% of which are taken up by West Europe, America and Japan. The production and consumption of epoxy resin in Asia concentrate in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. In last years, because of the super high-speed development of fine chemicals, specialty coatings, compound materials and adhesive industries, our national economics develops quite fast.

    After entering WTO, the epoxy resin and binding products develop faster. Our country has become the third largest manufacturer of epoxy resin in the world. The Association of China Epoxy Resin Industry estimated that in 2005, we would produce 0.4 million tons epoxy resin annually and would quickly exceed 0.5 million tons. By then, we will become the biggest country of production, application, import and export of epoxy resin and adhesive.

   In order to submit to the world industry trends, our epoxy resin based adhesive products should transfer from low grade to high grade, which should raise technology contents, decrease environmental pollution, improve product structure and build advanced market communication system.
