According to the requirement of National Waste Draining constituted by National Environmental Bureau Branch, the range of waste draining standards of 13 main branch industries from chemical industry have been confirmed primarily. Now it is asking for opinions.

We used to constitute general draining standards according to water environment and air environment, but along with the improvement requirement of environment and enlargement of waste control, the general standards include too many industries, lack of detailed contents, have unfavorable practicability, have no special industry character, and especially have no special controlling demand on particular pollution of different industries and management and practice are quite inconvenient. Therefore, the country decides to constitute different waste draining standards separately, enlarge the application range of standards, and strengthen the industry pertinence.

Our country will also reform the standard system, raising present requirement and future requirement for different industry waste draining to direct the healthy development. We demand that new-established corporations should reach present strict standards, while the old corporations could have 3-5 years transition time and carry out the same standards as new-established corporations after transition time.
